The Craven B&B is located off the A420 between Swindon and Oxfordshire, south of Fernham village by about 2 miles. Public transport is limited, as is the case in most rural English communities, so personal transport is preferable. Having said this, many backpackers, mountain biker and ramblers use the Craven as a base to explore the Ridgeway and Oxfordshire countryside.

So how do I get to The Craven? By Car: From The South (M4): - Exit the M4 at Junction 14, take the A388 north toward Wantage, turning left almost immediately onto the B4000 toward Lambourn. In Lambourn, take the B4001 toward Wantage to the crossroads at Childrey. Turn Left onto the B4507 toward Ashbury, turning right for Kingston Lisle. Go through Kingston Lisle and follow the signs for Uffington. Turn right by the church in Uffington Village and The Craven is located on Fernham Road, a third of a mile out of the village. The 'drives' into the Craven are just after the speed limit signs you will pass. From The North (A420): - Take any turning off of the A420 sign posted for Fernham (about 19miles SW of Oxford and about 9 miles NE of Swindon). Proceed to Fernham and the turning for Uffington is on the eastern edge of the village. Follow the road for two miles into Uffington and The Craven is on the right just as you enter the village.
